circles and lines
just messing with the overlapping circle motif. starting to resemble stained glass, but starting to feel like therapy. i find these lines to be soothing, a tad cathartic.

krista simcoe
krista's art is sublime. she has always had a knack for patterns and has recently taken this motif to a new level with her fish pieces. i envy her watercolor skills and her keen eye for calming repetition. check out her blog here...

travis w. simon
travis w. simon is dope. i first met travis about a decade ago when he was working in a screen printing shop with eyesor. he often shared his sketchbooks with me and i could immediately tell that this dude was a student of the line. his recent typography work is absolutely amazing and a tad mind-blowing. travis' stylized hand-illustrated pieces force you to notice the nuances and dig a lil' deeper into the formation of it all.
new prints
i have been experimenting with some new printing techniques... here we have "the gun doctors" and "robot chasing cop" printed on the same reclaimed birch from the 660 ramp that we printed the sound station prints on. these are collages i put together a while back for the halinski's rocket album artwork.

framed...
a simple wood frame goes a long way. i'm happy that this painting is finally hung (a year and a half later).

sound station prints and record totes
these hand silkscreened records totes and prints are being sold to help raise money for the sound station. the record totes were elegantly designed by eyesor himself and are perfectly sized for all of the vinyl you will need to buy when sound station reopens. they will be sold with a free print designed just for you by eyesor and myself (doazone). there are also some very limited edition prints on reclaimed birch from the famous 660 grand skate ramp in jersey city, signed and numbered by the both of us. if you can't make it out to the show at crossroads this evening and you are interested in purchasing any of these items, please send me an email and we will work something out for you. get them while they are HOT!

just some more illustrations from a 70's science book for children. i really can't get enough of these...they're so nostalgic for me and trigger some serious childhood neurons.
